Welcome to Be Well! We are thankful you found us!
Often times, one might find saying “goodbye” tough. When I was first humbled with the opportunity to work alongside clients, I searched for a way to express my farewell until the next session, or time. Saying “goodbye”,  “have a good night” or “have a nice weekend” did not resonate with me. I stumbled a few times until trying “take care and be well”. I was led to encourage those that welcomed our therapeutic relationship in offering them a reminder to “take care”, taking care of them selves and the goals they yearned. Last, but not least I wanted to wish them well, to “be well” in whatever that was for them. I hoped my considerations would be a quiet reminder to take care of yourself and be well.
As I was blessed with continuing working along side others as a licensed counselor, it came time to give my business a name. Since I spoke “be well” at the end of every session, why not call my practice Be Well Psychotherapy! Before long it came time to put an image with our name, a bumble bee was the first thing that came to mind. Initially I was skeptical that it was too quick of a decision, though reflecting back, I now consider it a gut decision. With some further research and consideration, from family and friends, the bumble bee felt completely fitting. As we may know, bees are needed for our food supply, pollinating flowers and producing honey. Needed, or essential, is the way each of us deserve to feel.
Does the meaning, or importance, of bumble bees resonate with you?

Like the bees, we can work together to defy everything & fly!
